Across the 79 live car competitions we rank, this is how ticket price and value line up right now. The median Value Ratio is the honest comparison — lower means more of your money is going into the prize rather than the operator's margin.

Best value on average right now is the £1 – £2.50 band, at a median ratio of 2.24 across 5 live draws. That is a snapshot, not a rule — a single well-priced draw in a worse band still beats a poorly-priced one in this one, which is what the ranking above is for.
What makes a car competition good value?
A £30,000 car sold as 40,000 tickets at £1.50 has a Value Ratio of 2.0. The same car sold as 105,000 tickets at £1.50 has a ratio of 5.25 — you pay a far bigger premium over the car's real value for worse odds. The ranking above does this maths for every live draw so you don't have to.
UK car competitions, operator by operator
The same car can appear in three operators' draws in the same week at wildly different ticket counts, so the operator matters as much as the prize. Cheap tickets or short odds?
These are the two ways to play a car draw and they pull against each other. A 99p entry into a 250,000-ticket draw and a £25 entry into a 2,000-ticket one cost the same for a comparable chance — but the second gets you there in one purchase and the first needs 250 of them.
