What makes a car competition good value?

A £30,000 car sold as 40,000 tickets at £1.50 has a Value Ratio of 2.0. The same car sold as 105,000 tickets at £1.50 has a ratio of 5.25 — you pay a far bigger premium over the car's real value for worse odds. The table above does this maths for every live draw so you don't have to.

Frequently asked questions

Which UK car competition has the best odds?
It changes daily as operators launch and sell out draws. The table above is sorted by our Value Ratio (best value first) and shows the live odds for each car competition, so the top entries combine a fair ticket price with a genuine chance of winning.
Are cheap car competition tickets better value?
Not necessarily. A 99p ticket for a £50,000 car can be worse value than a £5 ticket elsewhere if far more tickets are sold. The Value Ratio normalises this — it compares total ticket revenue against the car’s cash value so you can compare any draw fairly.
Can I take cash instead of the car?
Many UK car competitions offer a cash alternative, often lower than the headline car value. We base the Value Ratio on the prize’s cash value where available. Always check the individual operator’s terms before entering.
How often is the car ranking updated?
Hourly. Sold-out and closed car draws drop off automatically, so every competition listed is currently enterable.
