Prize details from The Classic Competition Company

A very well-built Yamaha Super Ténéré SonAuto Dakar replica, fitted with an 850 TDM engine and matching 850 TDM carburettors. It has recently had a full restoration and comes with a folder full of history and bills from the build.

The bike has been built with real attention to detail, using an 850 TDM donor engine, giving it more usable power while keeping the Dakar-style character. It has also had a full carburettor rebuild using genuine Mikuni parts, followed by rolling road setup by BSD Performance, so it now runs very well.

It is fitted with a full Arrow exhaust system, which gives it a strong Dakar-style sound. The bike also has SonAuto fairings and decals, a Dakar high front screen, custom high front mudguard, X-style headlamp grill with yellow-tint lights, crash bars, Yamaha hand guards, Renthal bars, and freshly powder-coated wheels.

A lot of practical work has also been carried out, including new Mitas tyres and tubes, lowered suspension, uprated front springs and oil, refurbished brake calipers, new brake pads, new wheel bearings, new clutch kit, new rectifier, new battery, new fuel pump, new fuel taps, and fresh fluids throughout.

The modified genuine seat has a gel insert for comfort, and the custom-made side stand has a larger foot to help the bike sit better than the standard setup. It also has a battery tender charging port, two keys, HPI clear status, V5 present, and MOT until October 2026 with no advisories.

A very distinctive Dakar-style machine with a strong spec, plenty of power and a huge amount of recent work already completed.
