A freshly rebuilt 1986 Honda XR600R, restored from the ground up to a very high standard. This bike started as a complete USA-import basket case from DK Motorcycles in October 2024 and has since been through a full nut-and-bolt rebuild.
Although UK registered as a 1985, this is a 1986 model, with the manufacture date shown on the frame plate. It has now been MOT’d, UK registered and is ready to enjoy.
The rebuild has been fully documented from the crank up, with most of the work carried out professionally. It has had a total engine rebuild including a new crank, piston and valve guides, along with rebuilt forks, rebuilt rear shock, rebuilt wheels with new rims and stainless spokes, and a powder-coated frame.
The engine has been Cerakoted, and the bike is fitted with a new exhaust tail can, new plastics, and rebuilt electrics. It also has an upgraded alternator to charge a lithium battery mounted in the tool bag, designed to power auxiliary equipment such as GPS, road book and other rally-style electronics.
A very serious XR600R build with huge attention to detail, ideal as a classic Honda trail bike, rally-style build or high-quality collector’s example.
