Prize details from The Classic Competition Company

A lovely Kawasaki Z1000 A1, UK registered from new and presented as a very well-cared-for example. It has been owned by the previous keeper for 4 years, with the owner before that having kept it for 30 years.

During the last 4 years, a good amount of work has been carried out to keep the bike looking and riding as it should. This includes a repaint in the correct colour, rechromed and rebuilt forks, new rear shock absorbers, a new wiring loom and a new seat.

The brake calipers have been rebuilt with stainless pistons, and it has also had new tyres and tubes fitted. It is running a full stainless exhaust system by OS Exhausts, giving it the right look and sound.

It has also been serviced, with the carburettors stripped and cleaned. Most of the new parts have been supplied by Z-Power, which is a nice detail for a classic Kawasaki of this type.

It runs and rides as it should, and as a tax and MOT exempt classic, it is ready to ride, show and enjoy.
