Prize details from The Classic Competition Company

A striking 1980 Yamaha DT175MX, presented in rebuilt condition and finished in a bright yellow colour scheme. It is registered as a Historic Vehicle, meaning it is tax and MOT exempt.

The bike was rebuilt by the previous owner over the last year, with over £1,000 spent on parts and a professional respray. There are lots of receipts included, along with many photos documenting the restoration work.

The rebuild included the bike being fully stripped down, with the frame, tank, panels and other parts removed and sent for paint. The engine was stripped and inspected, with various new seals fitted, along with a new piston and rings.

Further work included new frame and swinging arm parts, replacement bearings, new fork stanchions and new fork seals. There are too many new parts to list in full, but the bike comes with a large amount of supporting paperwork and receipts.

A very smart, usable classic Yamaha trail bike with a fresh look, a strong restoration record and Historic Vehicle status.
