Prize details from The Classic Competition Company
A fantastic-looking 1975 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead FX1200, built from the ground up by the previous owner together with Ali Daniels, formerly of Cold Steel Customs. It is a very well-specified custom Shovelhead with a huge amount of work carried out throughout.
The engine and transmission have both been fully rebuilt, with crank and bottom-end work completed by Matt’s Machine Shop. The engine spec includes S&S con rods, S&S 513 cam, S&S lifters and adjustable pushrods, S&S billet lifter blocks, S&S billet cam cover, Wiseco 10:1 pistons and an S&S Super E carburettor.
It is fitted with Paughco drag pipes, giving it the right Shovelhead look and sound. The wheels have been rebuilt with powder-coated rims, stainless steel spokes and Avon tyres, while braking is handled by GMA calipers and Jay Brake hand controls.
The frame has been stripped and powder coated, and the bike is finished with WX tanks, a Rogue rear fender and paintwork by Flakey Dave Addis. It also has a Le Pera seat, completing the overall custom look.
There is currently no speedo fitted, but the winner will have the choice of either an original-style speedo or a digital speedo to be fitted before delivery. This is why no speedo can be seen in the photos or video.
A properly built custom Shovelhead with a strong engine spec, quality parts and a fantastic stance, ready to ride and enjoy.
