Prize details from The Classic Competition Company
A fantastic-looking 1971 Triumph T120 Bonneville 650cc with matching engine and frame numbers, recently converted into a classic desert sled. A very well-thought-through build that captures the rugged look of the original 1960s and 1970s desert racers while remaining in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.
The bike has been finished with a professionally applied, custom weathered paint finish, giving it a lovely aged appearance. It features a yellow 585 competition number board, custom desert sled seat, twin high-level exhaust pipes and an alloy rear mudguard.
It retains its original 650cc twin-cylinder Bonneville engine with twin carburettors, along with the distinctive 1971 conical hubs and vented twin-leading-shoe front brake.
The bike is fitted with new tyres and has front and rear lighting, along with an additional light and mounting bracket that can be fitted for night riding.
A beautifully executed desert sled conversion with the right period details, matching numbers and a strong original Bonneville engine. Ready to ride and enjoy.
