Best of the Best Car Competition UK 2026: Sites Ranked by Real Odds Data
When people search for the best of the best car competition in the UK, they usually expect a list of flashy prizes and five-star Trustpilot scores. That is not what this post is. Instead, we pulled our own data — 71 car draws across 11 competition sites — and ranked them by the metric that actually matters: the Value Ratio.
The result tells a different story to the marketing.
What Is the Value Ratio?
The Value Ratio is Competition Showroom's core metric. It is calculated as:
Value Ratio = Total potential ticket revenue ÷ Prize value
A ratio of 1.0 means the organiser breaks even. A ratio of 2.0 means they take in twice the prize value in ticket sales — the entrant pool is paying double the prize. The lower the ratio, the better the odds for you as an entrant.
Most UK car competition draws sit between 1.8 and 3.5. Anything below 2.0 is genuinely competitive. Anything above 4.0 is a poor bet regardless of how appealing the prize looks.
UK Car Competition Sites Ranked by Median Value Ratio
We analysed car-category draws with confirmed Value Ratio data across all sites we track. Here are the results, sorted best to worst for the entrant:

What the Data Actually Means
RevComps leads on car draw value, with a median VR of 1.90 across the four car draws we have tracked. That means for every £1 in prize value, RevComps collects around £1.90 in ticket revenue on their car competitions — tighter than most. Their range (1.79–2.00) is also the most consistent in this list.
Dream Car Giveaways has the most data (11 car draws) and sits in the middle of the pack at 2.41. Their range is wider, which means individual draws vary significantly — some are excellent value, some are not. Checking the VR before each specific draw matters more than the site's average.
Elite and Redline sit at the higher end, with median VRs above 3.0. That is not necessarily a reason to avoid them — the prizes may be premium, and some entrants prefer paying more per ticket for a less crowded pool — but the maths is less favourable for the entrant.
What About BOTB?
BOTB (Best of the Best) is the most searched car competition brand in the UK and one of the most recognised names in the sector. But it does not appear in our Value Ratio table, and that is by design.
BOTB is a skill competition, not a raffle. Players use the Spot the Ball format — placing a pin on where they believe the centre of a removed football sits in a photograph. A judging panel decides the correct position, and the closest entry wins. This means the outcome is influenced by your judgement relative to other players, not a random draw.
Because the odds are not purely probabilistic, the Value Ratio framework does not apply cleanly. BOTB entry prices are among the cheapest in the market (from 4p), and if you are good at the format, your expected return is meaningfully better than the average entrant. If you are new to it, use their free practice mode before spending.
