WIN THE TOP DEAD CENTER VW GOLF R! 🎟️ EARLY-BIRD ENTRY JUST 15P (19P FULL PRICE) 🎟️ The Top Dead Center boys are back with another absolute banger. This time they’ve taken a completely standard Golf R and transformed it into a 487bhp OEM+ weapon! And now it’s over to one of you to continue the story. You could be taking the keys to this incredible TDC build for just 15p if you’re quick enough to catch our early bird offer. Before chasing big power, the lads did things properly. The original engine was given a huge mechanical refresh, with eight new injectors, a new water pump, inlet manifold, throttle body, spark plugs, coil packs, fresh gaskets throughout and a full Motul service. Only then did the real transformation begin. With the foundations in place, attention turned to performance. A Turbo Technics V3 hybrid turbo, DO88 intercooler, Ramair induction kit and turbo-back resonated Milltek exhaust were all brought together with an MRC calibration, producing an incredible 487bhp on octane booster or 473bhp on 99 RON fuel. It’s brutally quick, yet civilised enough to enjoy every day thanks to the OEM valve-controlled exhaust. It wasn’t just the engine that received the TDC treatment either. H&R coilovers, a fresh Febi Bilstein anti-roll bar and drop links sharpen the handling, while the Lamborghini Gallardo 8-pot front brake conversion with two-piece discs delivers the stopping power to match the performance. Finished off with Motorsport Gold Apex alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres, this is one of the cleanest OEM+ Mk7 Golf R builds we’ve seen. Inside, the modern touches continue with an aftermarket digital dash, Mk7.5 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Mountune paddle shifters, while subtle Mountune engine bay upgrades ensure the attention to detail carries right through the build. If you’ve followed the series, you’ll know just how much time, effort and care has gone into this Golf R. If you haven’t, we couldn’t recommend it more. Head over to YouTube, support the Top Dead Center boys and watch the full transformation. Then make sure you’ve got your tickets before Monday’s live draw at 10pm. For just 15p during our early bird offer, one of you will be driving home in this incredible 487bhp Golf R and continuing the story that the TDC boys started. Best of luck!
